Commentary
1-2: This is the shortest of all the psalms, a simple exclamation of praise for God’s steadfast love.
Takeaway
We should daily praise and thank God because God loves us and always will. In spite of our shortcomings and wilderness wanderings, God is with us. It’s not easy to see that God is with us when we are facing difficult trials, but the Psalms teach us over and over again to always praise and thank the LORD regardless of our circumstances, trusting that it is all in God’s good hands.
